Lauren Bullard 58 Report post Posted August 16, 2016 My sister and I are staying at BWV on September 26th through to 29th with our parents to. It can't come soon enough. My sister loves going to Disney cuz it gets her away from house chores she says. Plus She gets to be outside and we love the food and wine festival at Epcot. 3 Fizbain, tinkcrafter and School Belle reacted to this

Lauren Bullard 58 Report post Posted August 17, 2016 I'm not sure. I'm sharing my 2 bedroom with my parents to so it would have to be up to them. And none of us own a webcam. We don't know how to operate one. 1 Fizbain reacted to this
Lauren Bullard 58 Report post Posted August 17, 2016 Yes I would love to try though. 1 Fizbain reacted to this
Fizbain 1,735 Report post Posted August 18, 2016 We had/have some how to threads, I will see if I can find them. If not, we have many that only stream mobile. You could stream from your phone as the day allows. 1 School Belle reacted to this

School Belle 497 Report post Posted August 20, 2016 Found this in the Technical Assistance Forum. NE provides a tutorial for streaming with a cell phone: http://www.eyesonears.com/topic/2157-live-streaming-with-a-phone-tutorial/ and with a computer and webcam. http://www.eyesonears.com/topic/2156-live-streaming-with-a-computer-tutorial/ Hope this is helpful! Thanks NE for the tutorials! 2 tinkcrafter and Fizbain reacted to this
Lauren Bullard 58 Report post Posted August 20, 2016 Alright good deal. I'll have more time to look this over tomorrow. Bedtime for me now. I volunteer at a retirement home for horses so I have to get up early. There's no riding. I just feed, groom and love the horses. 1 Fizbain reacted to this

Lauren Bullard 58 Report post Posted August 21, 2016 Ok I finally found some time to read up on how to stream on my iPhone 6. I book marked it. I see that I have to turn in a stream request but I don't know what time I can stream or when I can stream.
Fizbain 1,735 Report post Posted August 22, 2016 Retirement home for horses, how nice! We have one not far from us. Often thought about moving or paint there
ZWarrior 345 Report post Posted August 23, 2016 Ok I finally found some time to read up on how to stream on my iPhone 6. I book marked it. I see that I have to turn in a stream request but I don't know what time I can stream or when I can stream. Most of use just do a request for a Mobile stream and then we stream as we can during our visits to the parks and resorts. constant streaming eats through your battery very quickly, unless you are like Fiz and have a car battery in your backpack. 3 tinkcrafter, kbmum and flounder1959 reacted to this
Lauren Bullard 58 Report post Posted August 23, 2016 Yeah I think I'll just do mobile streaming until we can get a web cam. I have no idea when that will be. 2 Fizbain and School Belle reacted to this
ZWarrior 345 Report post Posted August 24, 2016 (edited) No worries, there are no requirements that anyone stream ever. The only requirement we have around here is that you love the Mouse. Ok, at least have a passing liking for him. Edited August 24, 2016 by ZWarrior 2 Fizbain and School Belle reacted to this

tinkcrafter 199 Report post Posted August 26, 2016 (edited) We actually carry around back up battery packs from Anker that we purchased from Amazon (worked very well for Dear daughter when she was in Europe for three weeks this summer), but the fuel rod might be a better option. You buy it once and then can exchange your used up fuel rod for new at WDW. It is cheaper to order it than to buy at Disney, I think you save about $5. http://www.fuel-rod....com/.Exchange Here is the info if purchased at a Fuel Rod Kiosk in WDW: FuelRod kiosks dispense portable charging batteries for $30.00 each, which includes: A portable charging battery 6″ USB Type A to micro-USB cable (for most Android devices) One Apple 30-pin to USB cable One Apple Lightning to USB cable The purchase is not a rental, the charging device will belong to guest after purchase. The kiosk will be located in the following locations: Magic KingdomTomorrowland Light and Power Co. Big Top Souvenirs Pecos Bill’s Curtain Call Collectibles [*]Epcot Disney Traders[*]Disney’s Hollywood Studios Celebrity 5 & 10[*]Disney’s Animal Kingdom Island Mercantile[*]Disney Springs Marketplace Disney Photo Imaging DisneyQuest [*]ESPN Wide World of Sports ESPN Clubhouse Shop The novel thing about the concept is that depleted batteries can be simply swapped out for fully charged ones at any of these kiosks. Depleted batteries can be swapped out for no added charge after purchase by guests, meaning they may never have to actually charge one themselves. Guests may also choose to charge the battery on their own with the included cable, of course. Edited August 26, 2016 by tinkcrafter
Lauren Bullard 58 Report post Posted August 26, 2016 Ok but can't I just plug in my iPhone charger into any wall outlet and plug it into my iPhone 6. Like if I'm at Epcot, I think I can charge my phone in the DVC member lounge. 2 School Belle and Fizbain reacted to this
Fizbain 1,735 Report post Posted August 27, 2016 Absolutely! Works great. You just may find streaming drains your battery a little fast to be able to keep up that way. But it will certainly work. Thanks so much for thinking of us and giving it a try! 1 School Belle reacted to this
Lauren Bullard 58 Report post Posted August 27, 2016 Oh ok. I didn't know. Now I need to go back and read up on how I actually stream on my iPhone. 1 Fizbain reacted to this
Fizbain 1,735 Report post Posted August 28, 2016 Oh ok. I didn't know. Now I need to go back and read up on how I actually stream on my iPhone. These days it really has gotten rather easy. Install the Ustream app. Open app and log in with provided user/pass. Point camera at subject and click the round red button. And you poof your live. Lauren Bullard 58 Report post Posted August 28, 2016 Ok cool thank you. I've downloaded the ustream app already. My sister thinks streaming the food and wine festival would be fun. 1 Fizbain reacted to this
