Do you know any secrets about Disney World and/or otherwise useless information that some might find interesting?

Info like EPCOTs World Showcase has 11 pavilions, representing 11 countries. American Adventure, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Norway, United Kingdom. All but Morocco and Norway were present on opening day. Further, at first not many are aware that these pavilions are actually staffed by citizens of each of these countries.

A great TIP is to enter AK through the RainForest Cafe when the turnstyle lines are long. It gets you out of the congestion and right up the Left Path.

Hey, I was going to suggest this one!!:icon_rofl:

Always go left when in WDW......most of the time this is your best bet whether bag check, turnstile, etc!!

I did not know you could enter AK through RF (if you hadn't eaten there). Great to know!

Try to make any breakfast ADR's before the park opens, this way you're let in early and there is hardly anyone around, you feel like you have the park to yourself:)

OK lest see if I can describe this correctly. If you are lookind at SM, to the left is a path that will take you all the way down to near where the train stop is in Mickey's toon town. We took it our last trip. We could walk all the way down and be right there when toon town opened since it opened a bit later than the park.

So did I make sense? I need one of Robo's (from the dis) maps. LOL

Yup we use that all the Time (Mostly to catch the Train.)

Also during MNSSHP that is a Great CAndy Trail with several stops and normally the QueensCards manning the Teacups filled with candy. Do it late in the night and they Load your bags up instead of carring the candy back in.

Thats good to know if we ever go back during the fall time and happen to hit MNSSHP

Once, at Animal Kingdom, I was resting on a bench by myself, and two Cast Members walked by carrying what looked like a computer generated map of the park. Being the surveyor that I am, I walked over to where they were standing, told them of my profession, and asked if I could take a look at their map. As they turned so that I could see, I realized they were holding it upside down. I suggested that they might need a surveyor on staff. I'm willing to move !

We've kinda half joked about moving to Florida and working at WDW as a surveyor. But, being there full time takes away the "adventure" of the journey to WDW. To us , that's part of the fun.

Back to the premise of this thread, if you pay attention to what is going on around you in the parks, you can hear and see some really funny things !
Human nature can be hilarious.

I would like to put my $.02 in and try to resurrect this thread. For us, part of what makes WDW so special is the attention to detail. The small things that you need to slow down and soak everything up to notice. Sooo here I go trying to get you all involved.

Come on, join in the fun. I am sure we all have something to share here. Some little thing that goes unnoticed. Like Gus and Jack in the rafters at Cinderella Castle. Or the party line phone that is now in the hat shop.

Supposedly when Animal Kingdom was conceived, the idea was that it was meant to be explored or even discovered.

As part of that theme I hear there is a secret path in Animal Kingdom between, I think, the smoking area in Asia and Africa. Anyone ever find it and walk it? Is it still there? Is it from Asia to Africa?

this one I have been on it by myself in 07/08 maybe it's very hard to find now with them planting around it but it's still there.
