Oh my goodness ... I missed the chat but that looks painful.
I remember my mothers eye looked exactly like that years ago after she popped a balloon and it smacked her right in the eye.

Oh my... That made my eyes water!
Is that pic real or doctored? I missed the chat too but I would hate
to have my eye look like that! It looks terribly painful!

It's real! Wasn't painful at all. I woke up one morning a few days before the 4th of July. Saw the white of my eye in the left side was a little red. Next day a little more red. Called the doctor. She said it was a broken blood vessel. By the 4th it was like the pic! I don't know what caused it as I hadn't been popped in the eye with anything. She said that it could have been I rubbed my eye in my sleep.

Wow. I am so glad it was not painful for you. However, I have to say it is painful for those of us looking at it.
How long did it take for the blood to go away and for your eye to return to normal?
BTW - beautiful eye color. The blue, not the red. ;)

I think it took about a week to 10 days to clear up. We had people over for the 4th of July and they all either went AHHH or EWW when I opened the door, LOL.
Thanks about the eye color! The red really makes it stand out! LOL

WOW, M2M, that looks rough. Could blood pressure problems cause something like this? Might want to look into it. I'm glad it cleared-up for you; you wouldn't want to miss out on anything on your next trip to WDW !

my brother gets that! It looks like when you cry, it should be blood - he was told its a broken blood vessel - and can be caused by coughing!!
