We have a theme park view room but are trying to decide
which building to request, Tahiti or Tuvalu?
I know that Tahiti has more of a theme park/CR view and is
within a short distance to the transportation center.
The Tuvalu building is closer to the Great Ceremonial House
and has a theme park/Grand floridian view.
On the map it appears they are both about the same
distance from the pool and both will have a water parade view.
The dock looks closer to the Tuvalu building but I'm not sure if
it really is or just appears to be because you have to walk around
a body of water to get to it.So does anyone have a preference
and if so why? I have been to Ohana's but never went outside to
look around so I am not sure about the grounds and any ideas
would be appreciated! We had wanted to do the Club Level which
would have been the Hawaii building but they told us there would
be no guarantee for a theme park view even with the lagoon club level.
Thanks

I stayed in Tahati and found it very nice, the walk over to TTC made it a great choice. You could get the monorail to MK or EPCOT or take the ferry over to MK. We never minded the short walk over to GCH it was nice to walk over at night through the gardens with the Tiki Torches burning.

I prefer the Tahiti building. I like the quiet side of the resort much more than the busy side where Tuvalu is. In fact, that's the building I hope to get during July 4 weekend!

As for view, I believe I had read that the Magic Kingdom view rooms were based on being able to see the castle unobstructred. If so, it really wouldn't matter which building as any of those rooms would have a view of the castle.
