You can enjoy watching Super Bowl XLIII from the bar area or enjoy a sit-down meal with you family in the dinning room. No matter which spot your choose, you can still order from the same menu, which will have your taste buds watering. For appetizers you can choose from wings made the as hot as you want, nachos, sideline fries with a variety of dipping sauces and chili. For entrees there is something for everyone. From burgers to hot dogs, Asian salads to a vegetable sandwich, there is definitely something for everyone in your family. Before you leave, don’t forget to try the Rocky Road Cake, it is absolutely delightful.
If you are planning on watching the game at the ESPN Club, be prepared to arrive early and wait in line for a while. Just a few weeks ago, the line to get in for table service was already up to a two-hour wait at 11:30 a.m.
Many games it is standing room only in the bar portion of ESPN Club.
If you are looking for somewhere else to go to view the Super Bowl game check with local sports bars or check out the following options at the Walt Disney World Resorts.
Last year the recreation department at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club offered the perfect family Super Bowl experience. Children activities were available and they were playing the game on a big screen in both Ariel’s and in the Beach Club Solarium. There has been no official announcement yet if they are going to have it again, but check with your resort closer to Feb. 1. Also check with other resort’s recreation department s and see what might be offered for your Super Bowl needs.
Fans cheer as they watch their favorite team on the many TV monitors that can be seen from anywhere in the dinning room.
The Tambu lounge at the Great Ceremonial House in Disney’s Polynesian Resort has a large screen that will have the game on it. The Tambu Lounge is open from 1 p.m. until midnight everyday.
Do you have kids and don’t want to bring them to the lounge with you? Not a problem. Never Land Club Play Space for Kids is available every night from 4:30 p.m. until midnight and available for kids ages 4 to 12. You can take your kids there, where they can play with other kids, watch a movie and eat dinner, while you go watch the game in the Tambu Lounge. Cost for Never Land Club is $11 per child per hour and reservations are required.
If you do not want the crowds that come with watching the game at a restaurant or lounge, why not make a party of it in your room. Many of the resorts offer pizza delivery service, or grab some snacks at the quick service restaurant at your resort and enjoy the game in your room.
