OK that is streaching it a bit but yammering on about the World with a customer did end up costing me $52. I am an electrician and I was on a service call in downtown Charm City ( Baltimore ) yesterday in an area that has a 2 hour parking limit if you don't live there. The residents have parking permits to give to visitors to put on their dashbords to make it legal. The customer said they only needed 2 hours of work so I thought OK no problemo with the parking. So I did my work, which actually ran about 10 min over but then I had to start talking. They were a super nice couple that seemed to be as addicted as myself and better half. We compaired pictures ( yes, I carry mine with me, don't you ? ), where we have stayed, what draws us to it time and time again and what tours we had taken. They had just bought a house to winter in just miles from AK. So then after all that we had to get into what Disney decorations we both have at home. So when I finally realised it was time to move on to the next stop I walk out the door just in time to see the meter maid walking away from my truck with a little $52 "notice" fluttering under my windshield wiper. Oh well, I guess she didn't realize what important discussions were going on. I can't blame her for not understanding since she must have not been one of "us".

Oh my gosh that is so funny! Y'know, the world would be such a better place if everyone just "got it" like we do! :icon_lol:
