Cameron traveling around the World Showcase in EPCOT with StreetRat and wife in December, 2009.
They visited Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, United States, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom and Canada.
Cameron was happy to have his picture taken, he was waving in every photo. :)

White-lined Sphinx moth. Also known as hummingbird moths to lots of people. This one and 2 others were in my garden at dusk last night.

That's one pretty moth! Nice shot Virgo!

Nope, not a tornado. Taken in Winter Haven, FL last week. It's a type of cloud called scud and, because you're never sure until you can see the bottom of the formation, it always tends to raise your blood pressure a bit. :icon_eek:

I thought you might enjoy seeing one of the butterflies I've been raising this summer emerge from its chrysalis.

We've had 2 different groups. The first ones were not very successful. Out of about 20 caterpillars, only 2 went on to become healthy butterflies. This second group had done much better. We had 7 caterpillars, 5 have hatched so far and all of them have been healthy. :)

I'm pretty much in a wait until next year mode with the Sox. I've been there since about the first of August. Too many injuries up against both the Spankees and the Rays have just about put an end to any post season hopes. :icon_cry:

The butterfly was really bloated when it first emerged. After 10 minutes or so that was gone and it looked normal.

Took this from the plane as we were landing at MCO. We think it was a fire, but are not really sure.

LOL. I'm pretty sure it was a fire, but the smoke was not black like you would find with a fire. Some people on the plane thought it was a tornado. I didn't think so since we couldn't have flown so close.

It probably isn't a tornado. I just did a search on some of the Orlando-area TV stations and the Orlando Sentinel. There was no mention of a tornado. There was also no mention of a fire. It looks pretty big, whatever it is.

Four weeks ago I found 2 dogs running up the middle of my street. Despite contacting the authorities and checking lost and found ads, we were unable to locate their owners. The feeling is that they were dumped in our neighborhood.

I'm a cat person but these two stole my heart almost from the first moment I laid eyes on them. I named them Jack and Rose after the characters in Titanic. :D

Our Vet thinks they are Wheaten terrier mixes. They only weigh about 20 pounds.

Everyone in my family is crazy about them. It was a happy coincidence that I went outside at the exact moment they passed by my house. :)
