The Land at Epcot Mixes Science with Entertainment

Behind the Seeds greenhouse tour: Guests interested in taking a closer look at the four greenhouses and fish farm that are part of the Living with the Land attraction can take the 45-minute Behind the Seeds tour. Tour highlights include tasting produce grown in The Land, taking an herb and spice challenge, feeding fish at the fish farm, sprouting seeds to take home and releasing ladybugs.

Cost is $14 for guests ages 10 and over, and $10 for guests ages 3-9.

For the Cost this is a great Tour. You can even get A discount to make it even most cost effective.

Now I have heard it depends onthe Guide but I think that is with all and any tour.

It's very Hands on in most areas and informitive throughout the entire thing. It's also a Real Working lab for several Gov agencies because of the standards WDW can keep.

We took the ride on tour for the first time our last trip - it was really neat, we might consider the walking tour once the kids get a bit older.

I'm not a gardener, but I truly enjoyed the walking tour. It made me want to be a gardener and made me believe I could do it.
Entertaining and fun. I recommend it.

We also have done the ride tour but have thought about taking the walking tour because we enjoyed the ride a lot. In the past we have not wanted to commit to that long of a tour due to my daughters allergies (yes they acted up in there) but hey we can go now so maybe we will our next trip.

I'm glad I found this post, I was considering doing this on our upcoming trip. DD and I did the ride last year and she just loved it so I think I will surprise her this year with the walking one. Is there a better time of day to go, and do I need to book in advance?
