I am planning a trip during September, and just realized the weekend we will be there will be the Night of Joy special event. I was curious how busy the other parks will be during this time...I have no intentions of being near MK during this event...heard crowds are crazy for this event....lots of teens...I have two of my own don't need more to push me over the edge...thank for any advice you all could give:icon_lol:

Touring Plans has those two days as 1-2 for crowd levels so I would think if you avoid MK, you will be fine :)
Have a great trip!

I was there back in 2006, and the crowd level was very manageable at the other parks. We actually went to Night of Joy for one night, never again. We lasted I'm going to say 1 hour at the most. It's not the Magic Kingdom anymore, music from a radio station is blaring, the teens are all over the place. We had dinner at Cosmic Ray's, luckily we could even find a seat. Took one look at each other and said let's get out of here.
The other parks again are very manageable during this time. Enjoy!

We've been down a couple of times during the Night of Joy & if I remember correctly one year DHS had EMH until 1 am & we rode RNR 11 times in a row. :D
